Two major problems are blocking the release of AUI:
- Inability to publish to the public npmjs.com registry
- Inability to push assets to the AUI CDN
The release scripts publish AUI to both our private NPM registry and the public one. The auth details for the former are stored in the build agent's ~/.npmrc file. AUI's build makes use of ci-npm-publish to affect the authentication used in order to publish to the latter.
For some reason, the publishing to the public registry isn't working, and that's the one that matters.
I've raised https://github.com/npm/registry/issues/201 to get more info on why this is happening.
The AUI build publishes to the AUI CDN. To do this, the build makes use of JIRA Cloud's prebake distributor jar.
At first, the build was failing with an invalid access key exception. Updating the AWS access key has made this go away.
The second problem is that the "signature" sent to AWS does not "match". I have no idea what this means.
It could be an authentication issue, it could be an upload process issue... it could be any number of things.
