When using ATST, if a mail server has not been configured it will not allow you to try to submit a support request. However it is still possible to configure log scan emails to be periodically sent.
Access ATST on an instance w/o a mail server.
Click on the period log scan button.
We do not allow access to the box, or provide a clear error-message that it needs the mail server configured to do so.
We allow configuration of the mails, which will subsequently fail later on as a mail server does not exist.
