Hosted data storage properties should be readable by anonymous users

Bummer, we need this too. But I guess that’s not going to happen as last comment is from 2017.

Correct, the tracking id is a per-tenant configuration. Everything works great if a user is logged in, but for anon users, the Atlassian Connect add-on cannot read the configuration from the hosted data storage property.

Allowing the ability to have anonymous read access would be a big win.

and you have a different tracking ID for different tenants? So the tracking is for your users and not you?

@rmassaioli My add-on does integrate with a third party analytics solution. That's all it does.

It just uses the hosted storage to save the Google analytics tracking id. That's all.

Hi , using hosted data storage for analytics was not really the intended use case of that feature. We more imagined you storing state / configuration against an issue itself. If you need to have analytics features for issues in your add-ons why not just integrate a third party analytics solution?
